Emmy Noether Armchair Labs
The Emmy Noether Armchair Lab is a series of intensive workshops on topics relevant to the research project. The format varies, from conference-style presentations by visiting speakers, to group discussions of advance-read papers, to state-of-the-art seminars by researchers working in related empirical disciplines such as cognitive psychology and linguistics. The Armchair Lab meets at least twice per year.
Upcoming Armchair Labs:
- “New Research on the A Priori” with Yuri Cath (St. Andrews), Daniel Cohnitz (Tartu), Jonathan Ichikawa (St. Andrews), Carrie Jenkins (Nottingham) and Thomas Krödel (Konstanz) (May 2010)
- “Meaning, Modality and Apriority” with Scott Soames (May 2010)
- “Fictionalism” with Daniel Nolan, Robbie Williams (19-20 August 2010)
